Yianni’s life was tragically taken away too soon but his memory is not forgotten. His life revolved around three things – Faith, Family, Friends. The Yianni Project is the culmination of the three pillars of Yianni’s life.
With the help of the community, Yianni’s memory will always be remembered. How so? Friends and family members have organized themselves to begin to raise money to name a future gymnasium at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church. This gymnasium would honor the memory of Yianni by naming it the, “Yianni Koumoudouros Memorial Gymnasium.”
