Yianni Koumoudouros was a legacy. The Yianni Project is about securing that legacy. Yianni’s life was tragically taken away too soon but his memory is not forgotten. His life revolved around three things – Faith, Family, Friends. The Yianni Project is the culmination of the three pillars of Yianni’s life.

Our Cause

Basketball was Yianni’s sanctuary. The Yianni Project aims to build a gymnasium in his honor. Join us on our journey as we try to make the “Yiannis Koumoudouros Memorial Gymnasium” a reality.

Yianni Koumoudouros Memorial Gymnasium

Yianni Koumoudouros was a legacy. The Yianni Project is about securing that legacy. Friends and family members have organized themselves to begin to raise money to name a future gymnasium at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church. This gymnasium would honor the memory of Yianni by naming it the “Yianni Koumoudouros Memorial Gymnasium.” Yianni’s memory will forever be eternal.
